ENIAC Software & Consulting ("we", "us", or "our") operates the QuranAlim mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. QuranAlim is designed as an offline-first application that respects your personal data.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

QuranAlim does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data (GPS coordinates are used on-device only for Qibla direction and prayer times, and are never transmitted to any server)
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Financial or payment information
• Contacts, photos, or other device data

3. On-Device Data

QuranAlim stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Quran text and translations: Stored in a local SQLite database for offline reading.
• Bookmarks and reading preferences: Your bookmarks, font size preferences, theme settings, and reading progress are stored locally.
• Prayer times settings: Your selected calculation method and location preferences for prayer time calculations.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Location (optional): Used solely on-device to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed locally and never sent to any server.
• Internet (optional): May be used for downloading audio recitations. No personal data is transmitted.

5. Third-Party Services

QuranAlim does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar services.

6. Children's Privacy

QuranAlim does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no risk of data breach from our servers. All app data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security measures.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
